Today is one of the happiest day, Rosli Saran, Mai Farah, Amir Firdausi and me have got the long awaited news from KMDC. We passed the CFP Module 1. Passing rate is 84%. It means that for every 100 students 16 will fail. So not bad huh… Alhamdulillah. Those who passed the Module 1 can use the title of Associate CFP. There are five modules to go. But if you have an MBA, PhD or dBA you can opt for challenge status i.e. only take module 6.

Majority of the students are coming from unit trust, insurance and banking industries.

Met Shahrim and Abu at McD Ayer Keroh 10am Sunday 29-Jul-07. He interested to become a unit trust agent and has done an extensive research on unit trust industry, companies and agencies. So he has decided to join  the No 1 Unit Trust Company in Malaysia. That’s make my presentation went smoothly and more on question and answer session with him.

He signed the application form and pay RM247.50 fee. Alhamdulillah I brought the new agent bag with sales kit and passed it to him. I am looking forward to build our group in Melaka as there is huge untapped bumi market here.  Hope Shahrim to be a leader in Melaka. This morning I’ve discussed with Dr Saiful of The Oxford Centre for Leadership, UK on matters to improve my unit trust sales, services to clients and recruiting new potential unit trust consultants. He has got vast experience in sales and recently has launched the book called I Walked the Dollar.
