1. PRS Examination
For those yang tak qualify for the PRS exam exemption and would like to sell PRS, you can now register for the exam. There will be 60 Questions, and you have 90 minutes and the passing mark is 70%. So far exam only available in English Language. Please refer to the memo in the UTC Connect if you wish to register for the exam.
2. e-Learning
To help in your CPD points, you can now get points from e-Learning. 3 steps involved.

Please note that this only for points collection. If you have done the PRS module it doesn’t mean you have passed the exam. Also, you can only collect up to 50% of your total CPD points required. ie, if you need 24 points for this year, you can only accumulate up to 12 CPD points through e-Learning.
3. Switching charges for Money Market Fund (MMF)
If I am not mistaken, previously there were no charges for switching from loaded MMF. However there will be a charge of RM25, and it is subject to the 90-day window.
4. Halfest 2012
I have received feedback that the Halfest 2012 was quite a success. The booth that we got was quite strategically located. However, I shall try to get a location directly at the entrance next year, should we want to participate again next year.
There will be a similar Halfest event that will be held in Penang in January 2013. And from what I understand, quite a number of our Halfest 2012 participants are quite eager to participate. However, I need to remind you that the booth cost is RM2,200 PER DAY and not for the whole 3 days. So, total cost is RM6,600 (before subsidy claim of course). So put your heads together and decide if you want to do this.
PLEASE BE REMINDED THAT IN ORDER FOR US TO CLAIM THE SUBSIDY, WE NEED TO SUBMIT A REPORT. WE NEED YOUR COOPERATION TO SEND US A SUMMARY OF YOUR SALES LEAD, CLOSED SALES AND ALSO RECRUITMENT LEADS AND SUCCESSFUL RECRUITMENT. A DATELINE WILL BE DECIDED SOON.
5. Booth in One Utama
I have received an invitation from the Marketing Department of Public Mutual to participate in the Roadshow in One Utama shopping mall, Bandar Utama this coming 31 Oct till 4 November 2012. The booth cost RM8000 andthe company is subsidizing RM6,500.00. Unfortunately, there were no takers from our group.
6. Coaching/BOP/Brainstorming
The coaching/BOP session scheduled on the 26th and 27th Oct 2012 in Shas Alam and Cheras respectively have been cancelled due to Hari Raya Haji. We will commence the coaching on the 2nd November 2012. We may also discuss in the next brainstorming session on whether we should continue with the brainstorming/coaching as we sometimes have poor turn out.
7. Payment for Sugu
Please be informed that all payments should now be made directly to your own GAMs latest by the 7th of every month. Your GAMs will make payments on your behalf to me first as I need to make payment to Sugu latest by the 7th.
