Updates from Brainstorming this morning :

1. PRS now available to UTCs [no service charge, no amount restriction but all PRS guidelines applicable] Call Agency Services 03-62796900 to find out more. More information at new website link via Public Mutual website http://www.publicmutual.com.my/prs/Home.aspx

2. PRS is a new product and UTCs whom wish to sell and promote must have PRS license. UTCs with more than 3 years industry experience can attend 2 days Familiarization Program + submit docs/forms + RM100 for license. Others will have to take exam for licensing. Commission structure similar to EPF scheme.

3. New UTC EXAM – for newly recruited consultants wef 1 Dec 2012 required to attend and complete PRE CONTRACT TRAINING before taking CUTE exam

The Pre-Contract Training consists of the following 2 programs :- No. Course Name Duration Objectives 1. Understanding Unit Trust Basics (“UUTB”) (4 CPD Points) 1 Day To equip new UTCs with the necessary knowledge of unit trust and to prepare them to sit for the CUTE exam. 2. Best Practices in Marketing of Unit Trust (8 CPD Points) 1 Day To educate new UTCs on the best marketing practices and the code of ethics, rules, guidelines and regulations of the authorities, KWSP and the Company. With the above implementation, all new UTCs must now fulfill the following 3 requirements before they are allowed to commence marketing of our unit trust products :- i) Attendance of the Pre-Contract Training; ii) Submission of the duly completed UTCs’ Compliance Form; and iii) Passing of the CUTE exam.

4. System upgrade – the CAMS 2 briefing at SS2 Mall 10 Dec 2012, 10am [2 CPD Points].

5. Sales KICKOFF 10 Dec 2012 at One World Hotel – by invitation only.

6. PMB NAV RM50 billion and market share at 41% [see attached]
